This magnificent ship, with 84 staterooms and suites, offers the finest in service, safety and convenience. Travelers can relax on the River Terrace or enjoy leisure time in the Café Vienna or Panorama Bar. Other shipboard features include the Lido Bar on the sun deck, a fitness center and a massage room. A Note About Activity Levels

Activity Level ratings indicate each excursion’s physical expectations. To make the best personal choice, please evaluate each excursion’s rating and your ability to meet the tour’s physical demands. Please note, excursions on this program require: walking on cobblestones, unpaved paths or uneven surfaces; and getting on/off motor coaches and boats.
Mild: walk under 1 mile on mainly flat terrain; navigate under 50 stairs; stand under 1 hour
Moderate: walk 1-3 miles on flat/uneven terrain; navigate 50-100 stairs; stand 1-2 hours
Active: walk 2+ miles on flat/uneven terrain, including up and down inclines; navigate 100+ stairs; stand 3+ hours

Depending on the excursion, more leisurely alternatives may be available.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

CANCELLATION-Cancellations for any reason from date of booking to 76 days prior to trip departure will be subject to a $300 per person administrative fee. The withheld administrative fee may be applied to a future AHI Travel program that will operate in the current calendar year or year following cancellation. The credit will be applied to the final billing and may not be used as part of the initial deposit. It is non-transferable and is not valid toward the purchase of an AHI Cruises independent cruise. Cancellations from 75 to 60 days prior to departure will result in forfeiture of 25% of the entire cost of the trip per person; 59-30 days, 50% of the trip cost per person; cancellations from 29 days up to the time of departure will result in 100% forfeiture of the entire cost of the trip. TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE. AN APPLICATION WILL BE SENT AFTER YOU RESERVE. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to AHI Travel. CANCELLATION OF TRIP OPTIONS-Purchases of optional excursions, trip extensions and additional hotel nights become fully non-refundable 45 days prior to departure.     Depart for Zürich, Switzerland. Please check your luggage from your gateway city to your arrival city. Your claim checks should have the following airport code: ZRH.

    Zürich, Switzerland | Basel

    Arrive at Zürich International Airport. Proceed through immigration to the baggage claim area and retrieve your luggage. After completing customs, AHI FlexAir passengers traveling on flights that qualify for the group arrival transfer and Cruise Program passengers who have purchased seats on the group transfer should exit the baggage claim area and proceed to the Arrivals Hall, where an AHI Travel representative will meet you.

    Transfer to the pier in Basel and embark the MS Amadeus Silver III. Please note, if you arrive before check-in time, your cabin may not be immediately available.

    This evening, meet your fellow travelers during the Captain’s festive Welcome Reception and Dinner.

    This morning, the ship arrives in Strasbourg, the capital of France’s Alsace region. The city’s lovely historic center, called the “Grande Ile” or Big Island, is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

    Discover Strasbourg’s unique blend of German and French influences.     Take a guided stroll within the center of one of Germany’s oldest cities. Marvel at the extraordinary Romanesque cathedral, the burial place of emperors for almost 300 years and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through the grand, 13th-century Altpörtel, or Old Gate, once part of the town’s fortification walls.

    Enjoy lunch on board as the ship sails to Mannheim, where it will moor for the afternoon.

    Mosel River | Cochem

    After sailing through a narrow portion of the Mosel River flanked by quaint villages and tiered vineyards, the ship docks in Cochem early this afternoon.

    Enrichment: German Lunch. On board the ship, delight in a delectable traditional German lunch, complemented by beer, fresh pretzels, sausages and mustards.

    Discovery: Cochem and the Reichsburg Castle.

    Beautifully situated along a bend in the Mosel, Cochem charms with half-timbered houses, winding streets and hilltop Reichsburg castle overlooking the town.     Germany’s oldest major city, Cologne takes pride in its vibrant cultural scene and its awe-inspiring Gothic cathedral. Topped by two ornately decorated spires, the church was under construction for more than 630 years. During a guided walking tour of the old town, marvel at the cathedral’s impressive exterior as you stand in Cathedral Square, and then step inside to see the stone columns soaring upward toward the vaulted ceiling. After your walk through the old town, shop or linger in a quaint café.

    Depart Cologne and cruise to the Netherlands.

    After breakfast, disembark the ship.
