  • Elihu Rubin

    Elihu Rubin

    Elihu Rubin is Associate Professor of Architecture, Urbanism, and American Studies at Yale. He received a doctorate in architecture and a master’s in city planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor of arts from Yale. His first book, Insuring the City: The Prudential Center and the Postwar Urban Landscape (Yale Univ. Press, 2012) was awarded the Kenneth T. Jackson Prize from the Urban History Association and the Lewis Mumford Award from the Society of American City & Regional Planning History. Mr. Rubin’s work focuses on the   making and meaning of the built environment; architectural preservation and the politics of “heritage planning.” An enthusiastic lecturer, Elihu has also made documentary videos relating to urban history, the politics of public spaces, urban redevelopment, architectural modernism, and street life.

All cancellation fees will be waived from the time of booking through 96 days prior to departure for main program and pre- and/or post-program option bookings: full refund of monies paid. Thereafter, cancellation fees apply as follows:

Final Payment 95 days prior to departure:

95-61 days prior to departure: A cancellation fee of 50% of the program price, including fees paid for pre- and/or post-program options.

60-45 days or less prior to departure:  A cancellation fee of 75% of the program price, including fees paid for pre- and/or post-program options.

In the event of a cancellation between 44 days or less prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 100% of the program price, including fees paid for pre- and/or post-program options.

In the event of a cancellation between 45 and 95 days prior to departure, the refund will be by credit, usable on a future Gohagan & Company trip which commences on or before December 31, 2023.  In addition, for all bookings any applicable airline cancellation fees, optional excursion cancellation fees and administrative fees will apply.
