Who accompanies the trip and who else is on it?

With nearly 150 departures each year, we cannot ensure that every trip has a host or study leader. However, each of our operators provides tour directors who are intimately familiar with the tour’s itinerary and are there to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Whenever possible, we will feature a study leader who we feel will provide valuable insight and expertise on your journey. Occasionally, we will have a member of our staff or the National Trust accompany the group as a host.
Many of our trips, especially land tours, are small groups that consist solely of National Trust members. However, some of our cruises are shared with other “affinity” groups including alumni organizations from various universities, museum groups or other organizations such as the World Affairs Council. National Trust travelers have enjoyed bonding with each other on these tours, but also with the other groups represented onboard.
