Considered one of the most beautiful restaurants in Prague, the hotel’s richly decorated Imperial Café provides all-day dining and a menu inspired by continental and Czech cuisine. For an aperitif or after-dinner drink, delight in the Prime Bar. The hotel features concierge service and a well-equipped health club and spa. Wi-Fi is complimentary.

- Cancellation received 60-31 days prior to departure will result in forfeiture of 75% of the entire cost of the trip per person.
- Cancellation received 30 days prior to departure to the time of departure (or no show) will result in 100% forfeiture of the entire cost of the trip.

Arrive in Prague and meet your AHI Travel Representative who will accompany you to the first-class Art Deco Imperial Hotel for check-in. This evening, meet and mingle with your fellow travelers during a Welcome Reception with canapés at the hotel.

After breakfast, join the discussion on the Velvet Revolution and then set out on a guided walk of this historic capital city. Stroll the heart of the old town past colorful buildings and Gothic cathedrals, stopping at the Astronomical Clock, installed in 1410, to witness the hourly “Walk of the Apostles.” Pass by the 16th-century Golden Lane, located within the palace grounds, where Czech writer Franz Kafka once lived.

Prague | Embark the ship
Customize your day in Prague by choosing (1) discover the renowned spa town of Karlovy Vary on a historic walking tour, followed by a funicular ride up to Friendship Hill to admire panoramic views, or (2) explore Český Krumlov’s beautiful city center to marvel at Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Enjoy time at leisure for lunch and then transfer to the Elbe Princesse for embarkation. Attend tonight’s Welcome Reception and Dinner aboard the ship.

Vltava River | Štěchovice | Benešov
Cruise the Vltava River today, dotted with medieval towers, church spires and the majestic Prague Castle, as you glide past Bohemia’s picturesque countryside to Štěchovice. Disembark to visit the 13th-century Konopiště Castle, an example of French-influenced fortification architecture and once the Habsburg’s hunting lodge. Marvel at the large collection of medieval armor and weapons that belonged to the late Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and stroll the lovely surrounding gardens.

Prague
This morning, visit Prague Castle, the seat of Czech rulers since the 9th century. See the Castle Square gate and the Castle Gallery, home to renowned works of art. Stroll the cobblestone 16th-century Golden Lane, with charming cottages built into the castle’s fortifications. Visit St. Vitus Cathedral, see the Old Royal Palace and break for lunch together. This afternoon, set out on a guided walk to explore Prague’s historic Jewish Quarter and visit the Prague National Jewish Museum.

Prague | Elbe River | Kralupy
Relax on board as you cruise the Elbe River for Kralupy to visit Nelahozeves Castle, one of Bohemia’s finest Renaissance castles. Inside, marvel at the rich collection of furniture and paintings by Dutch masters that belong to the House of Lobkowicz. Gain a sense of the Baroque-period luxurious lifestyle of the oldest, most eminent, noble Bohemian family nobility. Conclude with a tour and tasting of fine wines at a nearby winery.

Mělník | Dresden, Germany
Cruise to Mělník and head for Dresden to begin a panoramic tour of the city’s treasures. Admire historic castles across the Elbe River, the landmark Blue Wonder cantilever truss bridge and the posh Weisser Hirsch neighborhood. Then, take a guided walk in the historic royal district, passing by the Royal Castle, Royal Catholic Cathedral, baroque Dresden Zwinger complex and 18th-century Taschenbergpalais Hotel, followed by a visit to the Green Vault museum or the Old Master’s Gallery.

Visit one Bohemia’s oldest cities, established in the 10th century on the site of a Slavic fortress near the confluence of the Elbe and Ohře rivers. Then, enjoy a cultural visit to a local brewery to learn about the Czech Republic’s distinctive strong beers and lagers, followed by a tasting.
