    Depart for Dubrovnik, Croatia

    Arrive in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where a Travel representative will meet you to transfer to your ship. Tonight, get to know your fellow travelers at a Welcome Reception and Dinner.

  • day 3

    Dubrovnik, Croatia/Peljesac Peninsula

    Dubrovnik, the darling of the Adriatic, shimmers like a jewel. Its quaint harbor is accented by tangerine-hued roofs and a stretch of cerulean sea. You’re sure to have many reflective moments in this waterside enclave as you witness its many highlights! This afternoon, begin your sailing adventure. Your first visit takes you to the rugged Pelješac Peninsula, abundant with fjords and vineyards. Enjoy a special visit to an oyster farm in Mali Ston where you’ll have the opportunity to taste fresh oysters.

    Korcula

    This spectacular isle, which is rumored to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, juts into the Pelješac Channel and brims with natural wonders. Join a guide for a walk through the old town, filled with enduring architecture.

    Hvar

    Uncover a slice of paradise in the ancient port town of Stari Grad, Croatia’s oldest town. During your excursion, soak up the purple beauty and delightful fragrance of lavender during a visit to family-run lavender farm in Jesla. Continue to a local winery, where we’ll learn about the history of wine making and taste local vintages.

    Split

    Behold Split’s many riches while walking through the courtyards and chambers of Diocletian’s Palace. See the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, the Golden Gate and the Peristyle.

    Šibenik

    Disembark to explore Šibenik, a proud city that welcomes visitors with winding alleys, squares and striking buildings. Visit the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James, one of Europe’s most significant monumental churches.

    Zadar

    Grab your sun hat for a beautiful morning of sailing to Zadar, a storied university town with an impressive Roman Forum and timeless church. Witness the village’s modern attractions at its waterfront promenade, including the sea organ, a musical art installation and the Monument to the Sun. During your outing, pause to taste some unique Maraschino cherry liquor and other locally made sweets.

    Zadar |Disembark ship | Plitvice Lakes National Park | Zagreb

    After breakfast, disembark the ship. Head inland, stopping at Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases crystal lakes, shimmering cascades and an enchanting forest. Take in the sights of this whimsical world on its well-marked paths and spy some of the region’s endemic species. Continue your journey to the capital city of Zagreb and check in to your hotel.

    Zagreb

    Broaden your knowledge about Croatia’s fascinating and complex history; then set off to discover Zagreb’s many treasures. Tucked between the sparkling Sava River and the forested slopes of Mount Medvednica, this metropolis wows visitors with distinctive architecture, lively squares, a booming food culture and colorful murals. Take in the sights of St. Mark’s Church in the beautifully preserved Upper Town and stroll through Mirogoj Cemetery, designed by architect Hermann Bollé. Gather for a celebratory Farewell Reception and Dinner tonight.

    Zagreb

    The day is free to make your own discoveries in Zagreb, or join the Elective Activity to the Ljubljana. If you choose to stay in Zagreb, perhaps visit a buzzing market to sample honeys, fresh breads and other locally made goods. Or, visit a museum. Zagreb’s top-notch museums are insightful and full of history!

    After breakfast, it’s time to say farewell and head for home.

-Cancellation received up to 151 days prior to trip departure will incur a $500 per person administrative fee.
-Cancellation received 150 to 121 days prior to departure will result in forfeiture of 25% of the entire cost of the trip per person.
-Cancellation received 120-91 days prior to departure will result in forfeiture of 50% of the entire cost of the trip per person.
-Cancellation received 90-61 days prior to departure will result in forfeiture of 75% of the entire cost of the trip per person.
-Cancellation received 60 days prior to departure to the time of departure (or no show) will result in 100% forfeiture of the entire cost of the trip.
