o Cancellation received 30 days prior to departure to the time of departure (or no show) will result in 100% forfeiture of the entire cost of the trip.

Depart gateway city | In transit | Amsterdam, Netherlands
Depart your home city and arrive in Amsterdam the following day. Your AHI Travel representative will join you for a transfer to the pier to embark on the first-class river ship. After settling in, board a canal boat for a delightful cruise to marvel at the colorful Dutch houses, historic bridges, parks and architectural gems lining the city’s iconic canals.

Amsterdam | Personalize Your Journey
Start the day with a discussion on the state of affairs in Holland. Then choose between 1) a tour of the Rijksmuseum, home to masterpieces by Rembrandt, Vermeer and other renowned artists, 2) a guided bike tour of the scenic Waterland, or 3) a walking tour of the Herengracht, Amsterdam’s canal district. Later, gather with your shipmates for a convivial Welcome Reception and Dinner.

Cologne, Germany
Arrive in Cologne and set out on a walking tour along cobblestone streets in the town’s medieval quarter, admiring the colorful Patrician houses. Then, visit the 12th-century Kölner Dom, one of the largest Gothic structures in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Depart Cologne this afternoon and take in the scenery along the Rhine as you continue to Koblenz.

Today, visit Koblenz, situated at the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine rivers. Choose between (1) a walking tour of Koblenz, passing by the onion-domed Liebfrauenkirche, the Alte Burg and the iconic German Corner, or (2) a scenic cable car ride up to visit the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, perched on a rocky outcrop with spectacular views of the Rhine Valley. Back on board, cruise along the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, passing by the legendary Loreley Rock.

Experience a late-morning Frühschoppen, the German tradition of drinking beer accompanied by pretzels, sausages and mustards! Arrive in medieval Miltenberg for a guided walk through the romantic market square. Admire half-timbered houses and the 16th-century octagonal red sandstone fountain, passing notable sites, including Germany’s oldest inn, the Riesen. Conclude with a visit to a local wine shop for a tasting in its 15th-century, vaulted cellar. The ship cruises along the scenic Main River this evening towards Würzburg.

Passau is beautifully situated at the confluence of the Danube, Ilz and Inn rivers. On a guided walk, see highlights of this romantic city. Stroll through the elegant Residezplatz square with its beautiful baroque fountain and see the Gothic Town Hall, the Old and New Residences of the Prince-Bishops, and the Niedernburg Abbey. Visit the 15th-century St. Stephen’s Cathedral, housing the world’s largest cathedral organ with nearly 18,000 pipes. Later, cruise through the Danube Loop.
