Select a tour of Florence, including a visit to the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze to see Michelangelo’s legendary David or choose to travel to the 16th-century walled city of Lucca, the Puccini Museum and the Villa Reale di Marlia.

Porto Venere/ Cinque Terre
Enjoy extraordinary views as the ship arrives in the medieval town of Porto Venere. Disembark after breakfast for a private boat cruise to the astounding Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit two of its iconic cliffside villages — Vernazza and Monterosso — with time at leisure to explore at your own pace. You will have the option to return to the ship for lunch or remain in Porto Venere for lunch on your own and have extra time to enjoy the coastal scenery. Attend the Captain’s Welcome Reception on board this evening.

Bonifacio, France
The French island of Bonifacio greets you this morning. Your discovery of this dramatically situated medieval town begins with a tram ride from the harbor to the Haute Ville, or upper town, and around the plateau to savor panoramic views. Stroll through Bonifacio’s ninth-century citadel to see historic landmarks such as Place Bir Hakeim, St. Jean Baptiste church and Le Grain de Sable — a weathered rock formation that appears to collapse into the sea. Enjoy the Jardin des Vestiges and see the house where Napoleon stayed.
