Nadi, Viti Levu, Fiji | Lautoka | Embark Heritage Adventurer
Touch down at Fa’a’ā International Airport. Proceed through the immigration checkpoint to the baggage claim area and retrieve your luggage. After completing a customs screening, meet a Gohagan & Company representative and transfer to a group hospitality room, where you can enjoy refreshments.
Later, transfer and embark the Heritage Adventurer.
Unpack, get to know the ship’s amenities and settle in for a delicious lunch on board the ship. This afternoon you’ll have a safety drill before the voyage begins.

Savusavu, Vanua Levu
Welcome to Savusavu, a jaw-dropping oasis. Nestled on the southern coast of Vanua Levu — Fiji’s second-largest island — Savusavu is affectionately known as “Fiji’s hidden paradise.” Savusavu is a peaceful, authentic slice of Fiji where ancient volcanic forces meet lush greenery and colorful reefs. This morning, and every morning aboard ship, enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading out on your chosen excursion.

- Waisali Rainforest Reserve. Venture into the Waisali Rainforest Reserve, a protected sanctuary teeming with life. Futuna, Wallis and Futuna
Arrive in Futuna, the smaller but culturally rich partner of Wallis & Futuna, a remote French territory situated between Fiji and Samoa. Unlike Wallis, which has stronger French influences, Futuna remains deeply rooted in traditional Polynesian culture, offering a rare glimpse into a way of life largely untouched by modern tourism.
Futuna Historic & Cultural Tour. Delve into some of the South Pacific’s most breathtaking scenery.
Ashore on Futuna, witness lush, mountainous landscapes, where taro is cultivated on narrow, terraced slopes. Taro is a tropical root vegetable that’s been cultivated for thousands of years and is a staple food in many Pacific Islands dishes. Next, visit the striking Poi Basilica, built on the sacred site where Saint Peter Chanel, the only canonized martyr of the South Pacific, lost his life. (Mild)
Return to the ship for lunch with friends.
Alofi Island. Next, cap off the day with a snorkeling adventure near Alofi island. Crystal-clear waters offer excellent visibility as you search for parrotfish, butterflyfish and angelfish; sea urchins, starfish and sea cucumbers; and rays and reef sharks. You may also choose to take a Zodiac cruise along the coastline. (Active)

Wallis
Arrive in Wallis, also known as Uvéa. Wallis is encircled by a pristine lagoon dotted with 13 uninhabited islets, easily reachable by boat and perfect for snorkeling, sunbathing and coastal exploration. Despite modern influences, Wallis remains one of the most authentically Polynesian societies, where traditions are deeply rooted and actively practiced.
Wonders of Wallis. Begin the adventure at Lake Lalolalo, one of the Pacific’s largest volcanic crater lakes that is surrounded by sacred rainforest and dramatic cliffs. Next, explore the Kolonui Tongan Fort and the sacred mound of Talietumu — a powerful reminder of 15th-century Tongan rule. These ancient ruins form part of one of the Pacific’s most extensive walled fortifications, offering a fascinating glimpse into the island’s medieval past. In Mala’efo’ou village, visit the Church of St. Joseph, the oldest on Uvea. Its vibrant interior features biblical art and traditional Polynesian motifs like fish and seashells, inspired by tapa cloth. Another blissful day in Polynesia awaits! Apia is Samoa’s bustling capital and largest city, located on the island of Upolu. Nestled between lush hills and the sparkling waters of the Pacific, Apia blends modern life with traditional Samoan culture. The city is the main hub for commerce, government and culture, featuring colorful markets, historic sites and lively waterfronts.
Apia Cultural Excursion. Visit the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum, dedicated to the famed Scottish author. Step inside to see the house preserved much as Stevenson lived in it, offering a glimpse into his life and work. Afterwards, pay a quiet visit to his nearby tomb. On the return journey, explore the lush Vailima Botanical Garden, where knowledgeable guides share insights about the native flora. Then, marvel at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, which towers majestically over the harbor. Welcome to Tonga! Tonga is a sovereign Polynesian kingdom made up of around 170 islands, of which about 36 are inhabited. Located in the heart of the South Pacific Ocean, Tonga is known as the “Friendly Islands” because of its warm, welcoming people and strong community spirit. Vava’u is located in the northern part of Tonga. It’s renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, lush green hills, and Polynesian hospitality, making it a top destination for travelers seeking both adventure and tranquility. One of Vava’u’s biggest draws is its status as a prime whale-watching destination.

Fulaga, Fiji
Tucked away in Fiji’s remote Lau archipelago, Fulaga is a stunning, crescent-shaped raised limestone island encircling a serene, turquoise lagoon. This untouched paradise is known for its mushroom-shaped rock formations, white sandy beaches, and countless tiny islets dotting the calm waters. Home to a small community of around 400 residents, Fulaga consists of three traditional villages. On the outer ocean-facing side, the neighboring villages of Muana-i-ra and Muana-i-cake sit side by side, connected to the sea by a narrow channel. On the lagoon’s sheltered shore lies the peaceful village of Naividamu. Fulaga is not only breathtakingly beautiful but also offers a rare glimpse into authentic Fijian village life in one of the most unspoiled corners of the South Pacific.
Fulaga Excursion. On today’s excursion, gain insight into this remote corner of the Pacific. Be warmly welcomed with a “I sevu sevu” kava ceremony, a deeply meaningful Fijian custom involving formal exchanges of respect between hosts and guests. Fulaga is also celebrated for its vibrant traditional crafts — women skillfully weave baskets and mats, while men carve wood. These treasured arts are handed down through generations and their products are sent to Suva, where they support island families by being sold in major stores. (Mild)

Welcome to Taveuni, Fiji’s third largest island. It is often called the “Garden Island” because of its lush, vibrant rainforest, abundant waterfalls and rich biodiversity. It’s a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone wanting to explore Fiji’s wild side beyond the usual beach resorts.

Lautoka & Nadi Excursion. On your journey back to Nadi, enjoy some enriching stops that showcase Fiji’s diverse beauty and heritage. Wander through the lush Garden of the Sleeping Giant, a serene botanical haven famous for its stunning collection of orchids and native plants nestled at the foot of the Sabeto Mountains. Continue to the vibrant Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple, the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere that is filled with intricate carvings. Finally, stop at the Fiji Culture Village and step into a traditional Fijian village experience. Learn about local customs, crafts and ceremonies. (Mild)
