Launched in 2018 as a beautiful passenger barge, Magnifique III features 21 contemporary cabins. The upper deck has five spacious suites (172 sq.ft.) with two separate single beds, a small sitting area, and a “French balcony” featuring ceiling-to-floor sliding-glass doors. The lower deck has fourteen beautiful twin cabins (129 sq.ft.) with two separate single beds and two single cabins. The upper deck has a large, tastefully furnished salon with a restaurant area, a nice bar, and a lounge area with cozy sitting corners, a wide screen TV, and large panoramic windows. On the top deck, the barge has a whirlpool/Jacuzzi and some deckchairs to relax and enjoy the scenery while cruising.

    Depart for Brussels on an overnight flight.

    BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

    Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for immediate check-in and some rest. Leisurely exploration of Brussels. Stroll past antique shops, art galleries, Art Nouveau brasseries, and chocolatiers that dot the area’s famed cobblestone streets. Private tour of Maison Hannon. Experience an Art Nouveau masterpiece in an enclosed, dreamlike environment. Within breathtaking interiors furnished by French Art Nouveau master Émille Gallé, admire contemporary works by James Ensor, Victor Rousseau, and Émile Claus.     BRUSSELS / BRUGES / EMBARK MAGNIFIQUE III

    Check out of the Brussels hotel and transfer to Bruges, a medieval gem known as the “Venice of the North” for its canals and gardens. Guided walking tour of the Béguinage. Upon arrival in Bruges, join our guide for an insightful look at the city’s UNESCO-recognized Béguinage (women’s living community), which dates back several hundred years. Private tour of the Church of Our Lady. Stand in awe of the church’s imposing, nearly 400-foot brick tower, the world’s second-highest of its kind. Inside, witness Michelangelo’s Madonna and Child, an early 16th-century marble masterpiece and his only sculpture to leave Italy during his lifetime. Walking tour of Central Bruges. Continue through the medieval core, where Gothic guildhalls and stepped gable façades line winding streets and quiet canals. Special-access tour of the Adornes Domain.     Tour of the Hans Memling Museum. Begin the day at one of Bruges’s most important museums, housed in the 12th-century Gothic St. John’s Hospital complex. View the St. Ursula Shrine, Hans Memling’s intricately carved and painted reliquary, widely considered one of the great devotional works of the Northern Renaissance. Return to the boat and cruise to Ghent, a medieval metropolis and powerful trading hub once second in size only to Paris. Private tour of St. Bavo’s Cathedral. Step into a 1,000-year-old sanctuary built over the foundations of a Romanesque church and now dominated by Gothic spires.     Spend a leisurely morning on board as the vessel cruises toward Dordrecht, Holland. Lunch is served en route.
