Visit Raj Ghat, a serene memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. En route stop in the village of Abhaneri to explore Chand Baori, one of the deepest and most visually striking stepwells in India. This architectural marvel was built in the 9th century during the Pratihara dynasty and served as a water conservation system. With 3,500 symmetrically arranged steps descending 13 stories into the earth, the stepwell creates a mesmerizing geometric pattern that is both functional and artistic. The cool air at the lower levels provided respite from the heat, making it a gathering place for locals. Adjacent to the stepwell is the Harshat Mata Temple, dedicated to the goddess of joy and happiness.
Next visit the hauntingly beautiful and well-preserved Bhangarh Fort, which was built in the 16th century.

Adorned with thousands of mirrored tiles and colored glasses on the walls and ceiling, the hall comes to life with reflections.
Continue to Jaipur’s most famous building, Hawa Mahal (the Palace of the Winds), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Exhibiting a unique combination of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles, this five-story pink sandstone palace sits amidst a busy street and market. The structure’s 900 windows resemble a giant honeycomb.
This evening be welcomed into a local family’s home for an engaging cooking demonstration followed by dinner.

Before construction commenced Singh sent scholars abroad to study foreign examples of such structures. The Jaipur observatory is the largest and the best-preserved of the five Singh built. See what has captivated the attention of architects and art historians worldwide at this site packed full of interesting instruments.
Hundreds of years ago when Jaipur was founded its prince incentivized jewelers to move to the city.
