American Splendor allows guests to experience the nostalgia of classic paddlewheeler travel while enjoying modern comfort and amenities. Recently renovated, American Splendor features serene color palettes, luxurious textiles and linens, new furniture and carpets, and updated artwork and flourishes. From the staterooms and suites to the lounges and dining rooms, the new décor pays homage to the legendary Mississippi River. On board, guests can relax in a casual ambiance while admiring panoramic views of the passing scenery. Each spacious stateroom is outward-facing, allowing commanding views of the riverside landscape, and includes all of the amenities you expect from a fine hotel. These staterooms also offer a sitting area, desk, and full-size bathrooms, and most feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors with a private balcony. With only 180 guests, fellow travelers will quickly become new friends.

Each Mississippi itinerary comes complete with a Hotel Stay where you can enjoy the city at your leisure, before beginning your cruise.

On the morning of the cruise, meet in the hotel lobby and we will transport you to the ship to begin your cruise. All luggage will be brought directly from the hotel and placed in your stateroom aboard the ship.

2-Night Graceland Post-Cruise Package

The complete Elvis experience is yours with a 2-night stay at The Guest House at Graceland, breakfast each morning, and an exploration of Elvis’ mansion and grounds. Upon arrival, be treated to an exclusive Welcome Reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, featuring a presentation by the Graceland Archives Department, who you will show you items belonging to Elvis, not regularly shown to the general public. The following day, enjoy a Memphis City Exploration which concludes at the ship the morning of your cruise.

Post-Cruise Packages must be reserved at least 30 days before your cruise date.

Round-trip domestic economy air package within the 48 states for $495 per person. This is paid at the time of final payment (90 days prior to sailing). Tickets are not issued until after final payment and after the Guest Information Form and Travel Details are filled out online. Once tickets are issued, the Air Fare is non-refundable. Upgrades to First-Class is available. There is a $100 per person administrative fee as well as the difference between the $495 pp price and new cost of the ticket.
