Upon payment of the $1,000 per person deposit, all reservations are subject to the cancellation provisions set forth below and by which the passenger agrees to be bound. Cancellations shall not be in effect until they are received in writing and confirmed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Deposits are refundable (less a $250 per person administration fee) if written notice of cancellation is received within 30 days of reservation;
after that, deposits are 100% nonrefundable. After final payment deadline on January 15, 2023, all payments are 100% nonrefundable, regardless of booking date. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

Depart U.S.
Depart home on overnight flights to Rome, Italy. Arriving Monday, check into the exclusive Baglioni Hotel Regina. Enjoy a restful afternoon at leisure, with optional walking tours from the hotel to Villa Borghese Park, then meet your fellow travelers at an elegant welcome reception and dinner at the hotel.

Rome
Following breakfast and a welcome orientation, prepare to discover “Ancient Rome” visiting the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. After lunch, spend the afternoon at the Borghese Gallery and view its extraordinary art collection. This evening is at leisure to enjoy the amenities of the hotel or explore Via Veneto independently.

Rome
This morning delight in “Baroque Rome,” including visits to the Piazza Navona, church of Sant’Agnese, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. After a savory lunch at another restaurant gem, continue to “Papal Rome,” including the Castel Sant’Angelo, Via della Cociliazione, St. Peter’s Square and the Basilica of St. Peter. The evening is at leisure to stroll the streets of Rome and dine independently in one of many fine restaurants.

CERVETERI / EMBARK
Head to the town of Cerveteri and see the impressive pre-Roman tombs and wall paintings. Savor local cuisine during a gourmet lunch at La Posta Vecchia, a stunning 17th century villa overlooking the sea. Later this afternoon, embark the Sea Cloud II and sail to Sardinia.

Porto Torres, Sardinia
Step ashore the scenic Porto Torres this afternoon and join in one of two excursion options: 1) see the well preserved and unique stone ruins of the Bronze Age at the Nuraghe Palmavera archaeological site; 2) art museums and architecture of Sassari, a city rich in art and well known for its elegant neoclassical architecture.

Ajaccio, Corsica
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast aboard the majestic Sea Cloud II, anchor off the beautiful port city of Ajaccio, choose between two excursions: 1) following in the footsteps of Napolean, visit the Maison Bonaparte where Napoleon grew up and explore The Palais Fesch’s extensive art collection; 2) take a panoramic drive into Corsica’s interior through the Regional Natural Park of Corse to the city of Corte and its museum of Corsican culture. This afternoon experiences the thrill of cruising under sail (weather permitting).

Bonifacio, Corsica
Dock near the white limestone cliffs of Bonifacio, choose between two full day adventures: 1) visit ancient Bonifacio perched on dramatic cliffs and its citadel and narrow streets of Old Town; 2) drive to a pleasant hike with stunning views of the beautiful Roccapina and Erbaju beaches. Return to the ship for a leisurely afternoon of cruising and final opportunity to experience the ship under sail. Gather this evening for a festive farewell reception and dinner.
