Kampong Laeang | Kampong Tralach | Phnom Penh
Discover Kampong Laeang, a lovely lakeside village in the vast Tonle region, one of Cambodia’s amazing ecosystems. Board tuk-tuks to travel the countryside for an authentic look at rural Cambodian life. This afternoon, an ox-pulled cart will transport you down quiet, winding roads bordered by lush rice paddies. In a small village along the river, visit and learn about a local school and library project.

Phnom Penh
Welcome to Phnom Penh, a storied city at the confluence of three rivers, with a history and culture that spans centuries. Despite its rapid development, it has retained much of its rustic charm and elegance. After our tour, return to the ship and savor an al fresco barbecue dinner accompanied by a classic Apsara dance performance.

Phnom Penh/ Tan Chau, Vietnam
Enjoy a tasty breakfast on board as the ship departs Phnom Penh and begins a full day of sailing. This afternoon, we will cross the border and arrive in Tan Chau, Vietnam, a pleasant town with diverse Chinese, Kinh and Khmer communities.

Tan Chau/My An Hung
Tan Chau is known for its aquaculture, agriculture, vibrant markets and silk-weaving culture. Ride in a xeloi, shop in the market, visit a temple, and call at a fish farm that has been operated for many years by one family. This afternoon in nearby My An Hung, visit a family vegetable farm. As a local artistic group performs a traditional dragon dance, sample Vietnamese teas and freshly harvested tropical fruits.

Binh Thanh | Cai Be | Tan Phong
Today, stop in two Mekong islands and one delta village, and meet locals within the communities. Learn how villagers fashion products from water hyacinths and rice, and visit a family fruit orchard.

My Tho/Disembark ship/ Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, disembark the ship and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. On a walking tour, see the city’s many fascinating historic landmarks. Enjoy a group lunch and an open-air bus tour before checking into the deluxe Park Hyatt Saigon. Spend time this evening exploring on your own.

Ho Chi Minh City
Today choose an included excursion: either a market visit and Vietnamese cooking class or an exploration of the Cu Chi Tunnels. This elaborate tunnel system beneath the city is centuries old and was used for guerrilla warfare during the Vietnam war. Join your fellow travelers for a Farewell Reception this evening.
