Begin exploring Bali’s beauty and culture at a local village where you will visit a school and engage with children and teachers. Then, encounter day-to-day life at a housing compound while tasting traditional Balinese snacks. Stroll along pathways amid rice fields while learning about the traditional irrigation system used for thousands of years. Conclude with lunch in the middle of the rice field and an invigorating foot massage.

Travel inland this morning to visit the Tampak Siring temple’s hot-water spring used for spiritual ceremonies. Continue to the village of Ubud for lunch, followed by a visit to the wonderful Agung Rai Museum of Art. Learn about a music ensemble called the gamelan and try playing various musical instruments. Then, opt to stay at the museum or visit the famous Ubud local market to peruse Balinese arts and crafts, fruits, spices and more.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some free time before checking out and transferring to the airport for your included flight to Singapore. Upon arrival, transfer and check in to the Hotel. Explore the hotel, have lunch on your own and spend the remainder of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

After breakfast, learn about modern-day Singapore and then delight in a panoramic tour of the city’s hidden gems and key attractions, including the iconic Merlion statue and notable sites in the Civic District. Next, visit Thain Hock Keng, Japan’s oldest Hokkien temple, and savor some of Singapore’s popular dishes at lunch. Then, gain insight into multicultural Singapore while exploring a Malay enclave, Chinatown’s shophouses and Little India’s exotic flower and spice markets.

Singapore’s Peranakan people are locally born of Chinese and Malay heritage. Visit a Peranakan enclave to encounter unique aspects of this culture, including a family business to learn about the history and preparation of traditional pineapple tarts, kueh chang, and a delicious tasting. Later today, tour the Gardens by the Bay, Singapore’s landmark floral oasis of garden artistry. See the iconic Supertrees, comprised of over 150,000 plants, and spend time in Cloud Forest and the Flower Dome, the largest glass greenhouse in the world.

After breakfast, transfer to the Singapore airport and fly to Bangkok, Thailand. Upon arrival, transfer and check in to the hotel. Today, you’ll discover the breathtaking ancient temple of Angkor Wat, the 12th-century crown jewel of the Angkor Archeological Park. Later, test your culinary skills while making rice noodles with a local family.
