    Arrive in Singapore and transfer to the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.

    Singapore

    Admire the golden dome of Sultan Mosque in Kampong Glam. Wander through multi‑cultural markets in Little India, its air filled with aromatic spices; and in Chinatown, with its restaurants, teahouses, and shops. Peruse local products ranging from batik fabrics, rattan baskets, and perfumes to foodstuffs, arts, crafts, and Chinese medicinal herbs. Take a scenic tour through the Civic District to see notable sites. Embark on a bumboat ride along the Singapore River. Cap off the day with stunning views from the iconic Marina Bay Sands SkyPark. Attend this evening’s welcome reception.

    After breakfast, transfer to Changi International Airport temples and pagodas, with artifacts, masks, and weaponry dating from the Mesolithic Age; and Jagatnatha Temple, the largest Hindu temple in the city. In Batubulan Village, enjoy a performance of a traditional Balinese Barong dance.

    Cruise through Indonesia’s amazing archipelago. Enjoy the Captain’s Welcome Reception this evening.

    Semarang, Java

    Today’s full-day tour takes you to UNESCO-inscribed Borobudur Temple, one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world; and Prambanan Temple, the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia with 240 temples in the complex. (Active) There will be an alternate excursion choice to take a guided tour of Semarang to see top city sites, the complex process of batik making, and Kota Lama’s Dutch Old Town.

    Cruising the Java Sea to Borneo

    Enjoy onboard lectures as you cruise towards Borneo.

  • day 11

    Tanjung Puting National Park/Borneo

    Prepare to see the great ape Orangutans, and possibly long-nosed proboscis monkeys, as you explore the Tanjung Puting National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, while winding through the river jungle in a Zodiak boat. Float through the rainforest to see these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.

    Indulge in the ship’s amenities and the tropical views.

    Badas/ Sumbawa Island

    Travel to Pamulang Village for an exclusive cultural experience. The head of the village welcomes you to observe the local traditions of rice pounding and weaving, and experience an exciting Sumbawa buffalo race.

    Loh Liang, Komodo Island

    Visit the UNESCO-inscribed Komodo National Park for a one-hour walking safari with a park ranger and naturalist guide. Walk the beach for a sighting of the stealthy Komodo dragon, Earth’s largest lizard—growing up to ten feet in length and weighing up to 300 pounds—in its only natural habitat in the world. Enjoy the Captain’s Reception and Dinner this evening.
