ITINERARY

  • day 1

    Depart Home City/ Quito, Ecuador

    Depart your home city, and arrive in Quito, Ecuador. Transfer to Swissôtel Quito and enjoy a day at leisure, with lunch and dinner on your own.

  • day 2

    Quito

    Begin with a walking tour of Quito, taking in the historic UNESCO-designated city center nestled high in the Andes. Visit the Middle of the World equatorial monument to straddle the equator and tour impressive exhibits within the on-site museum. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant

  • day 3

    Quito/Baltra Island, Galápagos/Embark La Pinta/North Seymour Island

    Take an included flight to Baltra Island, Galápagos this morning. Arrive, transfer and embark on La Pinta to begin your cruise. Savor lunch on board as we cruise to North Seymour Island. Disembark by dinghy for your first guided nature walk — be on the lookout for Magnificent and Great frigatebirds, land iguanas and the beloved Blue-footed boobies. Or, stay on the dinghy and sightsee from the coast. Later, mingle with a welcome cocktail followed by dinner on board.

  • day 4

    Isabela Island/ Fernandina Island

    Start your day at Isabela to witness Punta Vicente Roca’s spectacular coastal scenery by panga boat. Admire the island’s dramatic geology and lush green vegetation from the turquoise water and be awed by the diverse gale of seabirds cascading above. Return to the yacht for lunch as we cruise for Fernandina. Take a panga over to Punta Espinoza for a guided nature walk to see marine iguanas, brown pelicans and search for Galápagos penguins amid this barren landscape abundant with wildlife.

  • day 5

    Isabela Island

    Arrive at Urbina Bay this morning for a guided nature walk on Isabela. Glimpse the geological history visible on land due to the dramatic uplift of the ocean floor and look for Darwin’s finches and Galápagos mockingbirds. Return to the ship and cruise to the secluded Tagus Cove. Walk to Darwin Lake to admire views of the volcanic landscape. Opt to kayak or snorkel from the yacht, with a chance to swim with sea turtles and tropical fish.

  • day 6

    Rabida Island/ Santa Cruz Island

    Make a landing on Rabida Island’s red-colored beach where you can snorkel, swim or take a glass-bottom boat ride. You may see playful sea lions, Manta rays and unique starfish species. After lunch, sail to the north shore of Santa Cruz Island to explore Dragon Hill and see striking lagoon birds such as Great Blue and Lava herons.

  • day 7

    Santa Cruz Island

    Disembark for Puerto Ayora to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about its conservation work, captive breeding program and marine and wildlife restoration efforts. Observe awe-inspiring giant tortoises and their babies. Continue to the highlands of Santa Cruz for lunch and a visit to the tortoise reserve. Watch giant Galápagos land tortoises up close within their natural habitat on a guided visit.

  • day 8

    Floreana Island

    Take a panga ride through channels on Floreana’s north shore to Baroness Cove for a visit to the iconic Post Office Barrel. Continue with a visit to uninhabited Champion Islet, known for its vibrant marine life visible through crystal clear waters. Explore this pristine environment through a glass-bottom boat ride, or choose to snorkel in one of the Galápagos’ best snorkeling locations. In Punta Cormorant, walk along the olivine-crystal beaches and search for flamingos feeding in a brackish water lagoon. Continue across the island to see white-sand beaches that green sea turtles lay eggs on during their nesting season.

  • day 9

    Baltra Island/ Disembark La Pinta/ Guayaquil

    After breakfast, disembark the yacht for your included flight to Guayaquil. Transfer and check in to the Hilton Colon Guayaquil Hotel.

  • day 10

    Guayaquil/Depart for Home City

    Check out of the hotel after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
